JCSC Reinvigorates, Adds New Programs

Jefferson County Soccer Club is enjoying new momentum thanks to the filling of several key board positions this fall. As of August 1, 2019, the club had only one "voting" board member remaining: Jeni Banks, club registrar. "Support" roles were filled by Beth and Doug Ross, co-VPs of competition, assistant registrar Becca Lupton, referee coordinator Cher West-Albright, and equipment coordinator Chad Witheridge. Facing the prospect of no 2020 fall season, the club held a mandatory parent orientation and information meeting to give parents a real sense of its needs.

Luckily, parents and community members recognized the importance of club soccer in Jefferson County and pledged their support. Please join us in welcoming the new JCSC board members:

Shannon White, NSYSA representative
Nate Land, director of coaching

The club is enjoying fantastic energy and enthusiasm now, and has several new programs in the works: 2nd Annual Quimper Classic, Spring Skills Development Clinic, UK Intl Summer Camp, and Winter Futsal. We are looking forward to the future of the club!
