Jefferson County Soccer Club was founded with a mission to develop, promote, and govern the game of soccer in east Jefferson County.

JC Soccer Club is a member of the Northwest Sound Youth Soccer Association and is located in Washington Youth Soccer‘s District IV, which encompasses the Kitsap and north Olympic Peninsulas. Half of our games are played “away” in Bremerton, Poulsbo, Silverdale, and Bainbridge Island, and half are played on our home fields at HJ Carroll Park. We run a 10-week fall season for the club rec teams.

Our teams play at the “recreational” level. Players are assigned to teams according to age guidelines as defined by US Youth Soccer. At the rec level, tryouts are not required. The emphasis of rec teams is on having fun, building skills, and ensuring that every kid who wants to play soccer gets to play. In the past, JC Soccer Club has provided a select program in a couple of our age groups. Select level teams may be formed through a tryout process when it is determined by a team’s coach that his or her team is ready to compete at a higher level. Tryouts are required for select teams.

This club exists due to the volunteer efforts of many of the players’ parents and other community members. All board members, managers, coordinators, and coaches are volunteers. Referees are paid per game by the club. There always is a need for more participation: Please join us!
